Jackie Kafka has been named by Southwest Super Lawyers as one of 2019, 2020 and 2021’s Southwest Rising Stars in New Mexico.  Her practice focuses primarily on commercial litigation, but she also has experience with property disputes, employment litigation and civil rights.  She is licensed to practice in New Mexico, Arizona, the Federal District Court of New Mexico, and the 10th Circuit.  She is currently serving on the Networking committee for the Young Lawyers Division of the New Mexico Bar Association.

Jackie earned her law degree from the University of Arizona.  She was an articles editor for Arizona Law Review, a member of the 2015-2016 Jessup Moot Court competition team, a national competition on international law, and a member of the 2015-2016 National Trial Competition team, which was runner-up in its region. She also clerked at the Pima County Superior Court.

Before attending law school, Ms. Kafka co-authored Obamacare: A Handbook for Employers, while working for TimeForge Labor Management Company. She performed her undergraduate work at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. She is a New Mexico native hailing from Las Cruces.
