Scott Beckman received his undergraduate degrees from Transylvania University in Kentucky, receiving degrees in Philosophy and Anthropology. Thereafter he attended the University of New Mexico School of Law where he received his Juris Doctorate. During law school, Scott focused his studies in the areas of property law and environmental law and was a member of the environmental law society throughout his tenure at the New Mexico School of Law.
He is currently in his fifth year of practice having practiced law since 2018 when he became a member of the State Bar of New Mexico. Scott has since been admitted to the federal bar for the District of New Mexico as well. Scott has worked for several law firms with varying specialties developing a robust field of legal experience. He has practiced in the areas of consumer law, corporate law, estate law, probate law, real estate law and general civil litigation.
Throughout his years of practice, Scott has developed a passion for real estate law. In the field of real estate law with an emphasis in civil litigation. He has represented clients with real estate issues related to easements, issues in title, real estate transactions, construction defects, and has represented numerous homeowners’ associations. As a litigation attorney, he is eager to continue supporting his clients through the legal challenges they face.
